Nguyen Trai Bridge _ "Creative wave" - Hai Phong City

Among the bridges that have been built on the Cam river such as Binh bridge, Hoang Van Thu bridge, Bach Dang bridge. Nguyen Trai Bridge brings a new nuance in the area, is a bridge with a basic structure combining the form of cable-stayed structure and Finback structure form, the overall architecture has a strong vivid wave image. is a new highlight for the city center.

The old port of Hai Phong with its historical role is the driving force for the development of the city in the long run. This is also the place to keep many memories of the city. This design is to turn the strip of space at the foot of Nguyen Trai bridge extending to the foot of Hoang Van Thu bridge into a creative space, by honoring and inheriting the spiritual values of the existing industrial heritages. This space will be a public cultural space combined with youth creative and performing arts activities.

Currently, there is no touristic night landmark and activity area around Cam River to celebrate the weekend. Creative Wave Bridge is proposed not only as an exciting transport night view but also to light up with a series of lighting named “wave of light”. With a riverside park around the bridge, the area becomes active every weekend and becomes a touristic landmark in Hai Phong. This creates momentum and energy for the whole city of Hai Phong.

Using a big area of the bridge structure, “Creative Wave” will become a campus to project the artwork of the local artist. It will be a big event to take pictures with and also be a popular “check-in“ place.
